OBAMA PLANS BILLION-DOLLAR REELECTION CAMPAIGN

Bracing for a half-billion-dollar onslaught of outside GOP cash in 2012, President Barack Obama’s advisers are quietly working to bring back together the major donor base that produced a record-breaking fundraising haul in his first run for president.

In the past few months, Democratic National Committee aides have contacted several of Obama’s earliest financial backers to brainstorm about when and where to host the first money-raising events. Several big donors said they expect the Obama 2012 operation to open its doors this spring, with a string of fundraisers to generate the early cash needed to rebuild the president’s high-tech campaign operation.

But already some of Obama’s top financial backers are warning the White House: Raising money won’t be as easy this time around.

“They are getting organized in Chicago to start a massive two-year campaign, which I believe will be successful, but has extraordinarily large challenges in some of the major states,” said Philadelphia philanthropist Peter Buttenweiser, who hosted one of the first Obama presidential fundraisers in 2007 and is in talks to organize an early one for the re-election.

Obama’s team is running into resistance in at least one key fundraising hub — New York City, where some of Obama’s biggest 2008 backers have bitterly protested last year’s passage of financial reform legislation and what they perceived as an unfair bad-mouthing of bankers during the debate.

Obama was scheduled to go to New York this week to meet with about 25 large bundlers and supporters – and maybe clear the air – but that event was canceled after the Tucson shootings at the congressional event of Rep.Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.), according to one prominent New York fundraiser.

In other places, such as Pennyslvania, top donors say Obama has to get in line behind other candidates who need the cash more urgently. And some donors are worried that the party has been slow off the mark in responding to the latest onslaught of GOP fundraising, millions of dollars raised from secret donors by a variety of Republican outside groups, including two associated with former Bush advisers Karl Rove and Ed Gillespie.

Wealthy donors and the Democratic operatives anxious to start up competing outside organizations that can blunt the Rove groups are growing frustrated as they await more specific direction from the Obama team about what form those efforts should take and who should lead them.

In interviews, several said two developments could quickly set things in motion: Creation of an outside group by an obvious Obama insider, or a major donation from a high level Obama supporter, such as Chicago fundraiser Penny Pritzker, to an existing group.

So far, neither of those things has occurred even as the GOP groups ready themselves for the race. “We are stumbling around,” said one Democratic fundraiser and activist.

To be sure, it’s early, and Obama and his team have proven to be prodigious fundraisers. In 2008, the president raised $745 million and became the first nominee in modern history to decline public funding and finance his campaign entirely with private money.

Simply duplicating that record-breaking sum would be a feat, particularly when Obama’s candidacy won’t be softly wrapped in the inspirational and historic themes of his first race, but he’ll run on an ambitious record of legislative accomplishments – victories that haven’t yet been embraced by his liberal base but have energized his Republican adversaries.

$100 OIL: DEAL WITH IT

Other exporters indicate that cartel may not increase crude production

CAIRO — The global economy can withstand an oil price of $100 a barrel, Kuwait's oil minister said on Saturday, as other exporters indicated OPEC may decide against increasing output through 2011 as the market was well supplied.

Analysts have said oil producing countries are likely to raise output after crude rallied more than 30 percent from a low in May because they fear prices could damage economic growth in fuel importing countries.

European benchmark ICE Brent crude for February closed at $93.46 on Friday after hitting $94.74 a barrel, its highest level since October 2008.

Arab oil exporters meeting in Cairo this weekend said they saw no need to supply more crude as stocks were high and prices had been inflated temporarily by cold weather in Europe.

Asked by Reuters if the world economy could stand a $100 oil price, Kuwaiti Oil Minister Sheikh Ahmad al-Abdullah al-Sabah said: "Yes it can."

Iraq's new oil minister and the head of Libya's National Oil Corporation both told Reuters that $100 was a fair price, while Qatar's Minister Abdullah al-Attiyah said he did not expect OPEC to increase production in 2011.

"I do not expect an OPEC meeting before June because oil prices are stable," he said.

Some delegates even called for exporters to comply better with agreed production limits. OPEC members' compliance with promised cutbacks reached 56 percent in November, according to Reuters estimates.

When asked if output could be raised, Kuwait's Sheikh Ahmad said: "No. More compliance, more compliance."

The Cairo meeting of the Organization of Arab Exporting Countries (OAPEC) brought together Arab members of OPEC including top exporter Saudi Arabia, which has traditionally been viewed as a price moderate, as well as non-OPEC countries Tunisia, Egypt, Syria and Bahrain.

OPEC cut output drastically after the global financial crisis struck in 2008 to prop up collapsing oil prices.

As demand has risen steeply in 2010 and is expected to rise further in 2011, the market is watching closely whether OPEC can release at least some of its spare capacity to prevent prices from soaring to around $150 per barrel as they did before the crisis struck in summer 2008.

OPEC's most influential oil minister, Saudi Arabia's Ali al-Naimi, said on Friday he was still happy with an oil price of $70-80 a barrel and there was no need for an extra OPEC meeting before the next scheduled one in June.

Others in the group have been pressing for a higher price, arguing that quantitative easing and a weakened U.S. dollar that spurred gains across financial markets mean the oil price strength is partly nominal.

Egyptian Oil Minister Sameh Fahmy said the current increase in oil prices was the result of higher demand on heating fuel because of the cold weather in Europe.

United Arab Emirates Oil Minister Mohammed al-Hamli said crude oil inventories are "quite high. It's the highest over the five years average... The market is well supplied."

Shot Congresswoman will lead to naked body scans at public events

So many media outlets including Yahoo News are all reporting that Arizona congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords got wounded at a public event by a gunman named Jared Lee Loughner, 22, that opened fire with a semi-automatic pistol at point-blank range and was probably another Establishment mind controlled Patsy designed to act as a terrorist and attack Government Buildings plus public officials to create a panic and be the trigger for heavy security measures that violate the 4th Amendment of the Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution which protects us from unwarranted search and seizure.

Since it’s confirmed that the shooting of a public official was at a public event this may be used to completely outlaw the concealed carry of weapons which violates the 2nd Amendment of the Bill of Rights of the U.S. Constitution which gives us the right to bare arms or it may lead to the mobile naked body scanners and behavioral screening technology at all future public events. The technology the Department of Homeland Security wants to use at all public events including expos, sports events, and even public events hosted by politicians is called the Future Attribute Screening Technology or F.A.S.T for short. This technology doesn’t just radiate citizens like cattle with Tera-hertz of DNA Desolation rays but also checks behavioral responses from people under the guise to stop any form of mal-intent but this technology treats the citizenry as guilty of a possible future crime until they prove otherwise which completely destroys our Bill of Rights and Due Process.

The terrorist attacks against the twin towers was created and used to pass the Patriot Act which took away many of our Constitutional Rights and put an end to the Rule of law.

The underwear bomber and the toner cartridge bomb which was claimed to be from Yemen was used to force all Americans to go through enhanced pat-downs (molestation) and/or naked body scanners (Porno scanners) and those that refuse the scan and pat-downs were fined $11,000, added to the No-Fly list, and/or arrested.

Also Janet Napolitano, Secretary of the DHS, has used fear of the boogyman terrorist to recruit Americans to report and snitch on each other with the campaign known as “If you see something say something!” and is being put at Walmart stores, Federal Buildings, and even the Mall of America.

Well what can I say because this assassin attempt is just another ploy to condition people that if they don’t accept the naked body scanners and other forms of tyranny then Pro-Establishment Terror patsies will continue their plans to make buildings blow up at any time and terrorism attacks happening everywhere at any day and time causing major widespread fear, paranoia, and panic.

Adolph Hitler used fear to become the Fuhrer Tyrannical Dictator we all know throughout history.  The elites helped Hitler’s rise to power by committing a terrorist attack against the Parliament Building then blaming the terrorist attack on communist rebels then used this as an attempt to suspend the German Reich Constitution which suspended all rights to the German people which led from Youth Corps programs to Extermination using Concentration camps and the T4 Euthanasia program. ‘Together we Thrive’ should be ‘Together we die’

It just continues to get worse in Obama’s ‘syrupy’  manipulative way.  His talk with folks in Arizona was nothing but a continued political campaign and war against conservatives. It was also an Obama worship shrine with bold emphasis on ‘togetherness’  and ‘consensus’ which is the new code speak for nothing but censorship!In a time of tragedy where folks under normal conditions would benefit and desire inspirational and supportive words from their President, what did they get?  T shirts placed on every seat saying “Together we Thrive.”  That is nothing but a back handed insult and attack against the Tea Party folks and most of Americans these days that don’t want ‘together with him’ and what’s left of this radical administration’  anymore.  The families of the victims and guests wanted to morn and honor the victims,  not to be manipulated into another political rally for Obama and progressive leftists.

I heard a caller on talk radio call it perfectly when she said the push for consensus is really censorship.  I couldn’t agree more.  Now,  the cuddly push for togetherness and unity is the classic, manipulative smoothness of most communist dictators,  especially towards the beginning of total take overs.  The idea is to get everyone on board to help the needy,  the poor,  the disenfranchised,  the women, children and the elderly. 

It is much easier to move the masses where you want, steal money and freedoms if people think in their hearts they are helping and doing the right thing for their country or ‘rock star’ leader.  Once the manipulated folks start to get used to the smooth rhetoric,  less money and freedom, like cattle they get used to being told what they will believe,  what they will do and how they will spend what is left of their money.  Is that what you want?

The people who refuse to be turned into cattle and pointed into the socialist/communist shoot are declared the enemy.  Our voice and dissent are the promoted causes of racism,  murders,  acting out,  anarchy,  threats to our economy and way of life.  It is the old…..find the enemy,  patriotic thinkers who love and stand for freedom,  demonize them,  slander and lie about them,  attack them in the media,  financially, legally and then marginalize them.

The only problem this time is that vast majority of the American people get it,  the Obama administration games and smear machine.  We see the desire for total control over the people.  We have seen over the last two years Obama and the progressive Democrats demonizing our returning Vets,  pro lifers,  gun owners,  talk radio and Tea Party people,  fiscal conservatives and those uncomfortable with Islamic radicals and communists. 

This shooting in Arizona was a horrifying tragedy at the hands of a young man who fed his evil with the occult,  drugs and the dark side.  He didn’t listen to talk radio or news on TV.  In fact he was an Independent and had trouble getting jobs and any dates.  He was evil and sick. 

‘Together we Thrive’  put on every T shirt on every chair in the listening audience is nothing but a manipulated push for censorship and a back door assault on any person or group who disagrees with the policies and behavior of this administration.

Keep it up Obama and the left.  The American people are SO on to you and your smooth,  togetherness tactics.  We will boldly fight you until you are all out of office,  looking for jobs and wondering what happened to your communistic plans.  Bring it on.

How Congress helped created the very mental illness that resulted in the Giffords shooting

(NaturalNews) Giffords was assaulted while doing what more representatives in Washington should be doing:Talking with their constituents at home in a public place, right out in the open. In an age where many members of Congress hide behind closed doors and spend more time meeting with corporate lobbyists than talking with their constituents, Giffords regularly took time to talk to the people she sought to represent in Washington.

The sad fallout from this shooting in Tucson is that more members of Congress are now going to hide behind closed doors and refuse to interact with the public. There are psychos out there, after all.

But where did all the psychos come from?
Why Congress bears some responsibility for America's epidemic of mental illness
Congress bears a tremendous responsibility for creating those psychos in the first place, and that's where this story takes a turn for the ugly. How could such a claim be true? Read on...

I have very high confidence that a blood test of Loughner would reveal striking nutritional deficiencies combined with blood sugar imbalances. His photo reveals pale white skin, for example -- a common indicator of chronic vitamin D deficiency.

Did you know that the vast majority of violent criminals currently serving time in U.S. prisons suffer from blood sugar imbalances caused by a lifetime of junk food consumption?(Sodas, processed sugar, etc.)

These are all issues on which Congress could have made a positive impact over the last several decades but refused tobecause corporate interests were at stake. The junk food, pharmaceutical and sick-care industries all have powerful lobbyists influencing the votes of members of Congress, and very few members of Congress have ever taken any real action to reduce the exposure of American children and teens to dangerous foods, additives, medications and chemicals that actually promote mental illness.

Brain-damaging chemicals remain legal in America

When it comes to brain-damaging chemicals, Congress has also stood by and done virtually nothing to protect the American people from fluoride, brain-damaging adjuvants in vaccines, mercury dental fillings, dangerous chemicals in personal care products and mind-damaging chemicals in home construction materials (wanna live in a FEMA trailer, anyone?)

While decrying the terrible health crisis facing America today -- which includes mental health -- Congress has stood by and done absolutely nothing to actually improve the fundamental health of the American people. No, the Obama health care reforms don't count, because all they do is grant a monopoly over sick-care to the conventional medical industry while completely ignoring disease prevention, nutrition and other natural therapies that can often reverse chronic disease. If anything, Obama's health care reforms would make mental illness worse because, by forcing Americans to purchase conventional health insurance, they deny Americans the discretionary income they might normally spend on nutritional supplements, organic foods or other natural therapies that can help prevent mental illness.

Instead of actually improving the health of the American people, Congress has jumped in bed with the pharmaceutical industryand handed Big Pharma a monopoly over sick-care, written into law with Obama's health care reform (and also backed by the Bush administration before that).

Notably, this decision was aggressively promoted by the Democrats and even Gabrielle Giffords herself, who voted for Obamacare. (Do not twist this into an interpretation that I blame Giffords for Loughner's actions. She deserves no such blame. Congress as a whole, however, has played an important role in allowing mental illness to fester in America while suppressing nutritional therapies and cures that could help end that particular epidemic.)

The illusion of mental health "treatment" in America

Only a very small number of congressional members have ever done anything to support nutritional therapies or health freedoms that would genuinely improve the physical and mental health of the American people.Rep. Ron Paul, notably, has offered a Health Freedom Protection Act for several years now, but that bill never has enough support by other members of Congress to even make it to the floor for a debate.Rep Dennis Kucinich, on the Democratic side, is a supporter of natural health, and he deserves credit for trying to carry such concepts into his actions there, too.

Aside from a few exceptions, Congress has, by and large,has done nothing to support any improvement in the mental health of the American people. And funding more conventional "mental health screening" doesn't count because, as intelligent observers well know, mental health "screening" is merely a profit-driven patient recruiting scheme used by pharmaceutical companies toput more people on psychiatric drugs, many of which actually promote violent thoughts as a common side effect. So now we have members of Congress essentially being violently assaulted bythe very people they have historically abandonedwith their Big Pharma favoritism and refusal to embrace health freedom in America. It remains illegal in America, for example, for an Omega-3 supplement manufacturer to tell the truth that omega-3 supplements work as well or better than antidepressants at reducing the symptoms of depression. The FDA considers such a claim, even if backed by links to scientific studies, to bea criminal act. And the Congress has never bothered to exercise oversight with the FDA to prevent such outlandish oppression of scientific speech about nutrition that could really work to reduce mental illness in America.

Why nutrition affects mental health: Brain function 101

The brain, after all, is a physical organ fed by the blood supply. And the blood is comprised of the food you eat, the beverages you drink, and the medications you take. Everything you swallow affects your brain in one way or another.

This simple truth is still not widely recognized in conventional medicine, nor is it common knowledge among the American people, most of which continue to feed their children processed, nutritionally depleted junk foods. And then they wonder why little Jonny is angry all the time. So they put him on ADHD drugs, SSRI drugs and other psychiatric chemicals. Before long, little Jonny is emptying a 30-round magazine into his classmates at school. And the parents, teachers, Sheriffs and members of Congress stand around scratching their heads, wondering to themselves, "Why does this happen?" So they blame Rush Limbaugh.

Gee. Is the root cause of this really so complex to figure it out?

See, a Glock pistol does not fire unless a finger pulls the trigger. That finger is attached to a system of muscles and neurons that are connected to the human brain. That human brain, which makes the decision to pull the trigger, is fed by the human blood supply. That human blood supply is literally manufactured from whatever that person eats: School lunches, Diet Coke with aspartame, Twinkies, GMO corn, High Fructose Corn Syrup, MSG in canned soups, artificial food coloring chemicals, and so on.

So you have a chain of causality here: The food affects the blood, which affects the brain, which affects the "mental health" which affects the finger which pulls the trigger to cause senseless violence.

Of course, there are other factors, too: Social factors, family, violent video games (perhaps), exposure to heavy metals such as mercury (from dental fillings, seafood, etc.), influences from peers, and so on. I'm not claiming that food alone is responsible for this shooting, but I am asserting, with confidence, that what Loughner consumed in terms of food, beverages and medicine absolutely DID have an impact on his mental health. That fact is undeniable.

What is also undeniable is that the U.S. Congress has done virtually nothing to improve the fundamental health of the American people. Not that it's their responsibility in the first place, but at the very least they shouldget out of the wayand allow nutritional supplement companies to make scientifically-substantiated claims about the health benefits of their products. I believe that any honest discussion about Loughner and mental health in America must embrace these critical factors. If we are to prevent future violence from happening again, we must reduce the number of people in America who suffer from mental illness. And I assure you that can only be accomplished through a revolution in food and nutrition.

We are what we eat

We are what we eat. Loughner was insane. It is no coincidence that our factory farming meat operations in America are similarly insane.

It is no coincidence that mainstream laundry detergent products contain cancer-causing fragrance chemicals.

It is no coincidence that our food supply is largely made of heavily processed, refined ingredients that have been nutritionally depleted.

Loughner is the "refined white sugar" poster boy. He's the Wonder Boy of Wonder Bread (refined white flour).

He represents the ultimate extreme of what happens when you raise a kid on processed foods and angry meat products produced through the committing of violence to cows, pigs and chickens. Yes, it does matter. When you produce your food through violence, you tend to get violent behavior in those who consume it.

But it's so much easier to ignore the real causes, isn't it?

Of course, this article is fifty years ahead of mainstream thinking in America. Instead of considering these simple and obvious truths (well, they're obvious to NaturalNews readers, anyway), Congress will instead seek to ban guns, or ban free speech, or somehow attempt to invoke some moronic reactionary law that will completely ignore the root causes of mental illness in America. Because that's what Congress does best.

And that brings me to the final conclusion here: Einstein once said the definition of insanity (mental illness) is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Yet isn't that exactly what the U.S. Congress is doing?

They keep favoring the pharmaceutical industry, the junk food industry and the toxic chemical companies while ignoring the real health needs of the American people. And yet they somehow expect the outcome to be different. By Einstein's definition, the U.S. Congress also suffers from a kind of mental illness.

They act out of an "insanity of the status quo." And make no mistake, this insanity will continue for as long as our nation continues to raise our children on junk foods, factory-farmed meat products and psychiatric medications.

Mental health can be cured in America. But not by national leaders who are themselves expressing their own pattern of mental illness through their legislative priorities.

To cure mental illness in America, we need to first address the mental health of those who make our laws. If we do not, I sadly predict such random acts of violence will continue to be undertaken by the very same young men who have been abandoned, poisoned and exploited by the food, drug and chemical industries that now dominate America's legislative landscape.

You can't stop bullets with laws. But you can legalize health freedom in America so that the mental health of the population is improved to the point where far fewer people feel the insane urge to resort to the use of bullets in the first place.
