End of Free Internet: US Senate Committee Approves Internet "Blacklist" Bill

It seems the lame duck Congressional session is becoming anything but unproductive. Yesterday, we saw the cloture of the Food Safety Modernization Act (S. 510), and today the Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act was unanimously approved by the US Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday with a 19-0 vote. The COICA has been overwhelmingly viewed by bloggers as a corporate hijacking of the Internet by mega-media cartels.  Indeed, its eventual passage will be the end of the free Internet as we now it.

The Associated Press reported on the COICA vote:

The Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act, which has the support of the entertainment industry but has been strongly criticized by digital rights and other groups, was approved by a vote of 19-0. 

"Few things are more important to the future of the American economy and job creation than protecting our intellectual property," said Senator Patrick Leahy, a Democrat from Vermont who co-sponsored the bill.

"That is why the legislation is supported by both labor and industry, and Democrats and Republicans are standing together," Leahy said.

The bill gives the Justice Department an expedited process for cracking down on websites engaged in piracy or the sale of counterfeit goods including having courts issue shutdown orders against domains based outside the United States. 

"Rogue websites are essentially digital stores selling illegal and sometimes dangerous products," Leahy said. "If they existed in the physical world, the store would be shuttered immediately and the proprietors would be arrested."

"We cannot excuse the behavior because it happens online and the owners operate overseas," he said. "The Internet needs to be free -- not lawless."

This legislation may be the most dangerous weapon against free speech in modern history.  The infringing activity that may land a website on the "Blacklist" is defined very broadly.  It appears that the blacklist can be enforced without a court order via ISPs.  This is total information tyranny and all independent voices need to stand up and protest or surely we'll face the arbitrary blacklist.  David Segal reported on the blacklist regulations:

COICA creates two blacklists of Internet domain names. Courts could add sites to the first list; the Attorney General would have control over the second. Internet service providers and others (everyone from Comcast to PayPal to Google AdSense) would be required to block any domains on the first list. They would also receive immunity (and presumably the good favor of the government) if they block domains on the second list.

The lists are for sites "dedicated to infringing activity," but that's defined very broadly -- any domain name where counterfeit goods or copyrighted material are "central to the activity of the Internet site" could be blocked.

Segal has also established a petition against this hijacking of the free internet which can be signed here. However, given that this bill passed out of committee unanimously proves that our corporate-owned public officials will surely jam this legislation down our throats.  It will likely change the Internet as we know it, essentially redirecting the flow of free information to media conglomerates.  The bill is proposed as a piracy protection bill where according to AP:

The US Senate Judiciary Committee approved a bill on Thursday that would give US law enforcement more tools to crack down on websites abroad engaged in piracy of movies, television shows and music.

Clearly this was funded by media cartels, but this has a lot more to do with Internet censorship as it does about copyright infringement.  Further, this law gives the Department of Justice power to block access to websites located outside the United States.  This self-appointed global power grab isexplained by activist Francis Anthony Govia:

The Justice Department will be granted power to serve court orders upon the registry where the domain name registrar is not located in the United States, and upon receipt of such an order, the domain registry must suspend operations of, and lock, the domain name of the infringing site.

During the action intended to “lock the domain name," a court may determine, at a minimum threshold, that an Internet site is not conducting business to residents in the United States if the Internet site “states that it is not intended, and has measures to prevent, infringing materials from being accessed in or delivered to the United States,” including other provisions in subsection (d)(2)(B). The owner or operator of the “infringing site” shall also have recourse to petition the Justice Department to remove his domain name from an offending list, or petition the court to modify, suspend, or vacate the order in accordance with subsection (h)(1)(B).

This is very bad news for alternative voices and news aggregators.  Although it may be futile, we encourage everyone to call the Senate switchboard and voice their strong objection to this legislation, or we and many other "truth" sites may be essentially finished. The U.S. Capitol Hill Switchboard number is (202) 224-3121.

	Ventura qualified as an expert shot while in naval special forces training, and qualified again as an expert during his term as Governor in Minnesota, yet he could not duplicate the time and accuracy of Oswald’s fateful shots.

In the course of the episode, Jesse Ventura, a former Navy SEAL and Underwater Demolitions expert, attempts to recreate Oswald’s alleged shooting that day. He tracked down the exact make and model, as well as ammunition stock that the Warren Commission claims Oswald used. But despite the fact that Ventura qualified as an expert shot while in naval special forces training, and qualified again as an expert during his term as Governor in Minnesota, he could not duplicate the time and accuracy of Oswald’s fateful shots. Yet Lee Harvey Oswald only qualified as a “marksman,” two grades lower than Ventura. (Witnesses who shot with Oswald have said for years that he had “Maggie’s drawers”—that he frequently missed the target and generally did not meet the high standards of a serviceman.)

The House Select Committee on Assassinations matched Ventura’s findings back in 1978. Their investigation found a 95% or higher probability that John F. Kennedy was killed by more than one assassin, concluding that indeed a conspiracy took place, and debunking the rushed conclusions of the 1964 Warren Commission that Oswald acted alone. However, nearly half a century later, the media has continued to promote the lone gunman theory, even in spite of a skeptical public. The motives behind this mass-misconception are deep and probing indeed, and Ventura has been questioning the official account for many years now.

	Images released by TruTV show that Ventura acts out the official account of Oswald’s shooting; then talks to a number of experts at Dealey Plaza, the site of the JFK assasination, including Jim Marrs, prominent researcher and frequent guest on the Alex Jones Show.

       I think that, firstly, I will point out the very obvious position of President Obama and the similarity to Shiva, The Destroyer. The date of this cover is 11/22/2010. For further information on Shiva see the following Link,http://www.lotussculpture.com/shiva1.htm

      I don’t think that I have to point out how utterly mocking the above description is towards God Almighty. Jesus wore a crown of thorns, and Shiva wears a crown of skulls, so it is safe to say this ‘god’ encircles itself indeath. The comment about the crescent moon being linked with Shiva really gave me a pause as the crescent moon is seen so often in association with President Obama, as I’m sure everyone knows, which I know a lot of people have thought symbolizes Islam, and while I believe that to be part of it, I am now wondering if there isn’t a little deeper reason that no one has been seeing: a link to Shiva, and the old ‘gods’. I would bet finally that this ‘god’ cannot create, but can only destroy, and that is why he is known as the destroyer.

       

         I would ask why is it so important that President Obama be seen emulating this god? What is it that this man (and I use that term loosely) is going to do to the world, and mankind? I wonder if we haven’t already seen some of his destruction; I’ll touch back on this in a moment.

      MdLinda found something that ties into this all and in a way that is extremely alarming (Link:  http://www.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and-stories/2010-11-12/newsweek-daily-beast-merge-announcement/ ) The announcement is that there is (as of November 12, 2010) a 50/50 Joint Venture will Merge all Newsweek Businesses and The Daily Beast’s Digital Assets. Essentially, this is a marriage between man and beast with this venture, and it is happening right now. Something from the article that really caught my eye is this, “The new entity will be called The Newsweek Daily Beast Company……..The two entities together offer writers, photographers and marketers a powerful dual platform.”

    

            The definition of entity is, en·ti·ties 1. Something that exists as a particular and discrete unit: Persons and corporations are equivalent entities under the law.2. The fact of existence; being.3. The existence of something considered apart from its properties.

          So, there are two separate entities, man and beast, that are coming together here; this reminds me of Revelation 13:1-8,  ^“The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.  The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.  One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast.  People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”       The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for forty-two months.        This Newsweek Cover is absolutely mind-boggling with how much is going on with it. It states, God Of All Things and underneath that it says, ‘Why The Modern Presidency May Be Too Much For One Person To Handle’. On the other hand, can’t God handle everything? Unless, of course, one is not referring to Everlasting God but maybe something (within someone) that is attempting instead to impersonate the Great ‘I AM’?  It appears as though President Obama is trying to pose as Shiva, definitely, and so I would say this is the message. Let’s study this cover a little further:

          President Obama, with sun shining behind him in golden rays, is holding not only the world in his 6 hands, but also a military helicopter, a house, a wad of money, a dove, and a stethoscope. That’s a lot to hold for a mere mortal, but not for a ‘god’.

         Notice that the globe is turned to the United States and there is a military helicopter above it; this could possibly indicate a military move here soon in the U.S. Perhaps even signaling that there will be a military take-over (remember the FEMA camps/martial law) soon. 

        President Obama is holding a large wad of money that are $100 bills; it’s hard to see what the exact number of bills are that are in his hand, but did you know that not only is a new design now up for the new $100 bills, but that they will be in circulation February, 2011? Here’s some information on it (Link:http://www.usattorneylegalservices.com/100-dollar-bill.html ). I’m not sure who ‘folds’ their bills to glean possible hidden messages, but if anyone knows anything about this new $100 bill coming out, please let me know what you’ve got. There could definitely be a clue here that we’re missing.

        The house that President Obama holds is of interest because what has happened to the housing market since Obama’s Presidency? There have been millions of foreclosures, and indeed, the housing market is slowly being destroyed, along with the financial industry. We may be seeing the destroyer at work a lot closer to home than anyone is piecing together, especially with his uncanny depiction of Shiva.

   

           President Obama is holding a dove which often times signifies peace; however, it can have other meanings. It is poised as though looking upwards towards Heaven, but in Hindu religion (and I think it’s safe to say we can continue on this vein because of the obvious Shiva connection) the dove symbolizes Yama, god of the dead, who has birds such as owls and doves or pigeons as messengers (Link: http://www.squidoo.com/doveofpeace ). Obviously, this dove bodes nothing good, and neither does the messenger.

       Finally, there is the stethoscope to symbolize healthcare, but also it is another stab in the eye of God as He is known as ‘The Great Physician’.

        Let’s see, isn’t there one more thing that President Obama is trying to do? Soros advises Obama to use forceful measures to override the will of the people

George Soros funds the Center for American Progress, which has been characterized as Barack Obama’s Ideas Factory. John Podesta, its head, led the transition team when Barack Obama became President. The Center has also become a hiring hall for the Obama team, filling its positions with former employees (among these was controversial Van Jones — who now is back at the Center).

Apparently, George Soros and his Center are upset that the American people placed a roadblock in their plans when we rose up and painted the nation red. The Center now is providing a blueprint of ways Barack Obama can do an end run around the people’s will by resorting to methods that will strike many of us as being improper-to say the least. Relying on executive orders, interpretation of regulations, rule -making and the like they are collectively a recipe for even more power being assumed by President Obama.

From Tuesday’s Politico Playbook:

[The] Center for American Progress today is releasing a report, “Power of the President,” proposing 30 executive actions the president can take to advance progressive change in the areas of energy, the economy, health care, education, foreign policy, and national security. “The following authorities can be used to ensure progress on key issues facing the country today: Executive orders, Rulemaking, Agency management, Convening and creating public-private partnerships , Commanding the armed forces, Diplomacy.

The New York Times fleshes out these proposals with some suggestions about policy changes across the board. The ideology of George Soros shines through the Center’s report as it justifies this forceful approach to circumvent Congress when it states that:

[The] legislative battles that Mr. Obama waged during his first two years – notably on health care and financial regulatory reform – have created a weariness among the general public with the process of making laws. And it hints it has not helped Mr. Obama politically in the process.

In other words, when Congress passed a variety of laws Americans became dismayed by the horse-trading and bribes that were resorted to by Democrats to impose these policies on us. Instead of compromise and listening to the American people, Soros counsels that more forceful measures should be used to override the will of the American people.

And this is the man the Democratic Party has as their sugar daddy and who various Democratic leaders over the years have defended and praised (for example, as shown by thisletter from 11 Democratic lawmakers).

He is certainly a dictatorial daddy.

United States Supreme Court Will Soon Issue a Landmark Decision on the Validity of the Constitution

ATLANTA, Nov. 13, 2010  /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The United States Supreme Court will soon issue a landmark decision on the validity of the Constitution.  The Supreme Court will consider three petitions filed byWilliam M. Windsor, a retired Atlanta, Georgia grandfather.  The decision should be rendered by the end of the year.  Unless The Supreme Court acts, federal judges will be free to void the Constitution.

The Questions Presented to The Supreme Court by Grandfather Windsor are:

1. Will The Supreme Court declare that the Constitution and its amendments may be voided by federal judges?
2. Should federal judges be stopped from committing illegal and corrupt acts to obstruct justice and inflict bias on litigants?  
3. Will The Supreme Court be afraid to disclose the corruption in the federal courts?

These questions are presented in three separate Petitions for Writ of Mandamus filed with The United States Supreme Court the first week of November 2010 (appeal numbers to-be-assigned).

Windsor has been involved in legal action in the federal courts in Atlanta since 2006.  Windsor was named a defendant in a lawsuit (1:06-CV-0714-ODE) in which Christopher Glynn of Maid of the Mist in Niagara Falls, swore under oath that Windsor did a variety of things including the crimes of theft and bribery.  Windsor stated under oath that Christopher Glynn made it all up and lied about absolutely everything that he swore.  Windsor then obtained deposition testimony from Glynn and the other managers of the Maid of the Mist boat ride in Niagara Falls, and they admitted, under oath, that charges against Windsor were not true.

Despite this undeniable proof, federal Judge Orinda D. Evans declared that the grandfather of three should not have fought the lawsuit, and she forced him to pay over $400,000 in legal fees.  Windsor appealed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, but federal judges Dubina, Hull, and Fay rubber-stamped Judge Evans' ruling. Windsor then took his appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court where the justices said the appeal was not worthy of their consideration (cert denied).

Windsor believes that the federal courts and nine federal judges violated the Constitution, the Due Process Clause, and the First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Ninth, and Fourteenth Amendments to the Constitution.

Windsor says: "I have discovered that, at least in Atlanta, Georgia, the federal courts operate like a police state in which the judges are all-powerful, committing criminal acts from their benches and violating the Constitutional rights of parties who have the misfortune of appearing in their courts."

Windsor has now tossed the hot potato right square in the laps of the justices of the Supreme Court.  By filing mandamus petitions rather than an appeal, The Supreme Court is forced to deal with Windsor's allegations of corruption in the federal courts.

Grandfather Windsor hopes for the best but fears for the worst: "I hope The Supreme Court is decent, honest, and cares about the Constitution and the citizens of the United States.  However, I am sorry to say that at this point, I suspect the corruption goes all the way to the top.  My charges have been totally ignored by the United StatesAttorney's Office, the FBI, and Congress.  I have said to The Supreme Court that the issues can all be boiled down to one question: Is The United States Supreme Court prepared to stop the federal judges in Atlanta, Georgia from functioning like common criminals?"

Windsor says: "If The Supreme Court fails to act against these federal judges, the citizens of the United States need to know that there is not a shred of decency, honesty, or Constitutional rights in our federal courts.  Corruption has consumed the federal court system, and we now live in a police state.  Judges are free to do absolutely anything they want.  Our laws are meaningless.  Your life savings can be stolen by a federal judge, and they have no risk in violating every law in the books."

The Supreme Court may render its decision before the end of the year.  It's one retired grandpa against the United States government.
